After all, its done by JJ Abrams and his crew who have created Alias, Lost and Fringe ….

The end of the CRISIS that began with 1985's CRISIS of INFINITE CRISIS that gravitated towards ZERO HOUR in 1995, then IDENTITY CRISIS in 2002 reaching to the epic INFINITE CRISIS in 2005 and following 52 in 2006 and finally reaching its conclusion in 2008-2009's FINAL CRISIS .. The end of Batman, the rebirth of the Multiverse, the fall of DARKSEID, the return of Barry Allen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it has finally happened. The iconic hero batman may live to see another day but the man behind the original concept, the best detective in the DC Multiverse, Bruce Wayne finally dies a valiant hero's death after getting hit by Darkseid's Omega beams in FINAL CRISIS #6... Rest in Peace Bruce, it was good knowing you...

well, i am still watching Heroes, gossip girl and entourage among  other cool series, but couldn't wait to brag about the new coolest tv series.. ok ok House is not a new one.. but i started watching it recently and it rocks!!! so on with the list:

The best MD series since ever !!! and best of all, the theme song is a personal fav,i thought i would only hear it on the sucky prison break (give it a rest and cancel it !!) but here it is in with full swing !!

JJ Abrams new TV series since LOST.. already loving the scifi series and its pattern !!!!

After Entourage, HBO's True blood is down right cool .. and secured for 2 years at least.. yeah !!!!!!!!!!

LOVE this show... the acting and the chemistry is too cool in this show... comedy + drama !!!

Guess this is the new spy drama for the new era.. move over Alias , there's a new Man(or men:) ) in  town...

Fall season has finally started and all my beloved shows have returned with full force, see some cool examples to date ::

Well it's been almost one year since I last tasted the Karachi food... This time, as usual the seekh kababs, KFC zingers and slims were a usual deal...Hanifia is still the same and rocks on in the Hunter beef burger department.... However I was disappointed by the food quality of BBQ Tonite, while the portions have become smaller and smaller, the food quality wasn't even good to say the least and the mutton booti wasn't even properly cooked.. well it was the 2nd day of Eid so I thought perhaps that could be an excuse also.. In Arizona Grill, I tried the Arizona Fire Steak, as I haven't eaten a real steak in over 2 years.. and frankly the arab restos in France don't even know how to boil water less than cook a steak.. While the AG's steak was very very tasty, again I was shocked by the portions of the servings .. I compared it to KB's and BBQ Tonite's steaks and found that it wasn't up to par with them.. A steak with about 10 french fries, broccoli and 4 tomatoes.!!!!, talk about getting gypped :)..anywayz, I did discover the best booti roll chain in Karachi... Hot ' n ' Spicy (http://www.hot-nspicy.com/), which is better than Spicy bite, Red onion or the oldie Eat-on... talk about getting your money's worth...

China town is still the king when it comes to king sized prawns and hot and sour soup, I've tried many Chinese restos in Karachi over the years, like Suzi wong in Marriott , but china town is still numero uno..

Well its been decided, i'm going to finally ditch my loyalty card to Nokia and will switch to Apple's Iphone 3G after my current contract finishes in october.. The things that attract me are the possibilities of doubling the Iphone as a Ebook reader, not to mention the other addons being added to the Iphone..

Well, lets take a history of my Nokia phones,

Well, they've done it again .. another platinum album to their credit... Koi aanay wala hai is packed with their usual energy and unique lyrics written by Anwar Maqsood... they are no doubt Pakistan's most celebrated International band ...

thought to get in the spirit of the things, here's my customized poster for the Final Crisis epic 26 years , multiverse spanning time travelling epic saga ....first the original version, then my take on it...

Well, it happened, i saw it, actually I went to Brussels to do some shopping at Esprit and Zara, and as soon as I left the TGV, I saw huge posters of the Darknight, I was surprised because in France it will be launched on 13th August, however, in Brussels it was on the same date as in UK, and in original version, Thank GOD!!, not pathetically dubbed in french.. so i changed the ticket, did my shopping and then enjoyed about 2:45 minutes of Darknight, and boy, it doesn't disappoint, from the get go to the end line, it is simply the best movie of the last several years ....  yes it is that good...

And frankly the acting of Heath ledger won me over, he made the joker into a reality that can not be easily surpassed by others;.. so what now, what are the plans for BATMAN 3??:),

But I just hope that Bruce wayne survives the BATMAN R.I.P story line... :(

In one day, just one, the Darknight has made about 66 Million US Dollars, making it the biggest opening ever in the movie history... the success of this movie comes with the brilliant role immersing of the late heath ledger into the role of the joker, while Christian bale once again proves his mettle.. people are already saying that this is the best movie EVER ....  and an OSCAR might be even in the future (no pun intended) for heath ledger ... Christopher Nolan once again delivers like his previous jaw dropping movies...

Frankly , this is the biggest movie ever, a action packed thriller of a story but just adding super heroes as characters...

The new album by the 2006 American Idol winner Jordin Sparks features a gem of a song... No Air .. with collaboration of Chris Brown.. Chris's Forever is already an Ultimate fav on my music playlist and now this song comes along with this new album..

and... I don' have words to describe the quality of this song..

Perhaps since U2's Beautiful day that i have been impressed by a song having a similar quality...

IT IS A MUST TO BE HEARD !!!!

Without a doubt, one of the best romantic movies, i have ever seen... Ryan Reynolds continues to grow as an actor, while another solid performance by Abigail breslin is sure to give her a boost also.. Isla fisher is again a cutie pie:).. This film has got a score of about 11 out of 10 in my book..highly recommended.... A+!!

finally after two years of using the Mandriva distribution of Linux, I have finally ported over to Ubuntu 8.04.. and frankly, i am amazed by the ease of installation and its user interface.. currently my desktop and functionality has been customized to resemble a Mac...:)

All in all, its been long due....!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, i must admit, after only watching the first two episodes of ROME, i was hooked on this series, the brilliantly depicted political conflicts, the blood thirsty populace, the true illustration of the roman culture, the awe inspiring larger than life characters who shaped the world for the next 2000 centuries.. ROME is a must watch, the brotherly bond between Pullo and Lucius, the tactics of Marc Antony, the cunning of Cleopatra, the fall of Julius Caesar, the Rise of Augustus "Octavian" Caesar... the whole 2 season series is really a gem ... while the series does take liberty from the actual historical time line, the TV series is based to represent authenticity and not actuality...; A must watch...

The new Coldplay's album has just gotten out; and boy, is it a blast!!... featuring a new style of musical direction since X&Y, they have really stepped up this time... a platinum album for sure.......

The DEATH of Martian Manhunter ..........................

J'onn J'onzz , The last martian of the DCU... a founding member of the JLA, finally bites the dust at the hand of the Final Crisis baddie LIBRA .... in one panel no less.. .seems a bit petty compared to his status but i guess this isnt gonna be the only casualty of war in this epic series ... lets c whats ahead in the months to come ...

So, went to UK on the night of the 23rd, and stayed in London till Saturday and then our group went to Wales for a weekend trip... I was with farhan bhai and shahid in the Nissan Sky line sports car.. What a trip.. speeding up to 180 Km/h on the motor way with every body watching the cool car speeding past them... Then stayed at the Corris hostel near Machnynlleth and then the next day, we visited King Arthur's Labyrinth followed by a quad bike racing from the mountain top to the ground !!;. the racing was amazing as we enjoyed ourselves for a full hour all geared up..; and the track was like an amazonian tour with rocks and curves and stuff...

All in all, a cooooooooooool adventure.....

So back from Sydney at last.... Started watching entourage a few weeks back and man, is it cool or what.. Currently sadly i have finished all 4 seasons, but still its a classic TV show...specially loves Ari's typical comments and actions. A must see !!!!

Its coming, its looming,,,,, its the END OF an ERA, beginning of the 5th World.. The Final chapter of the 30+ year old trilogy...............................
